CONNECTION between author[cahir-the-witcher] and Main Character [Cahir Of Cintra] "at the beginning I treated Cahir as a kind-of-myself, then some time later, my sister said that's the basic mistake when you create a story/characters, 'coz you'll always protect your charas from being embarrassed, ill, wounded, DEAD etc. so I thought that would be fun to look at my Cahir as a completely different person, and here he is... on one of the pic he wears female maid uniform, my friend drew him as a pleasure slave.... I even tried to draw some yaoi pictures with him O_o[just to see how it would look like, well, I never succeeded] sometimes he's just an idiot or he's simply narrow-minded... and, I have to say this, I'm even jealous that he have more fun than me xD"
TALES OF THE WITCHER
at first I wanted to create a crossover.. fullmetal alchemist/the witcher... it was a foolish idea so it died young when I realized that almost everyone would read my doujinshi because of FMA... so only the witcher part stayed... since not many people know about this awesome series, the reader of TotW will like MY charas that are living in the Sapkowski's [the author of 'the witcher' books] land. It's barely possible that his characters will appear, maybe some lil hints but nothing serious. THE TITLE
there were few titles of my doujinshi such as: "cruel intentions" or "Cahir the witcher and the case of the magical kefir" but none of them actually match the content of my work so when I heard a very nice song 'Tales of the witcher' by Adam Skorupa, I thought that is perfect title for my doujinshi/fan-comic, to tell the truth my fan-manga can contain EVERYTHING! so it's very "safe" name... TIME LINE This information is mostly for the ones who read 'The Witcher' books by Andrzej Sapkowski, if you didn't read them it's allright too since this doujinshi is REALLY BARELY based on the books, anyway back to the description, the story about Cahir Of Cintra is placed about 100 years in the future, when the witchers are needed again, because of the great amount of new even more deadly creatures roaming around the land... yeah something like that Cahir pf Cintra vs Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach Few times I received comments like "Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach isn't a witcher and he's from Nilfgaard not Cintra, you dumbass" 1st Cahir of Cintra ISN'T Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach!!!! they're totally different people! 2nd my comic takes place many years after the books [excluding the awesome game by CDPROJECT RED] so it's impossible for "Sapkowski's" Cahir to live, not only because of the age he would have but also because of the ending of a book!!! 3rd there are some similarities between these characters like name or Cahir of Cintra has Nilfgaardish accent. This similarities could be explained in the side stories if I would be able to get my lazy ass to draw them xD FEW words about Ninyo Ninyo isn't in 100% mine!! the person that created her in the first place was my classmate [known as a merki-the-vampire]... Merki stated that originally Ninyo was her OC for CLAMP's manga "angelic layer", but she never used her in any way, so when I showed her few first pages of ToTW Merki changed her OC into a nymph and gave her to me after she noticed that Cahir doesn't have any love interests... actually name "Ninyo" was also Merki's idea, but I was prepared for another of my characters: vampire avenger that I called "Ivan", because "Ninyo" sounded a lil bit to girly for a vampire, so when I had to name "Cahir's girl" I just recalled almost-Ivan's-name.... and it suited her perfectly the witcher and the nymph at first when I "got" Ninyo I was feeling unwell with her, since she was created by someone else and she got strict role that it would be rude to abandon. So I decided that I'll change her as much as possible and make her relationship with Cahir as kinky and steamy as possible. But after drawing all those pages and pictures I realised that this couple looks odd in all this R-rated situations [you know them from my DA account/ scrapbook/ etc.], it just didn't suit them at all. Ninyo is cute, sometimes too cute, she's more like a girl than a... you know, and Cahir had way too much other people in "his bed". So I changed the overall idea about them. from hot dirty and improper to... innocent "first love"!
those few chapters with Ninyo and Cahir are not the whole time they've spent together, so prepare for some flashbacks

THE WITCHERS The witcher is a warrior who has been trained to fight since childhood, subjected to mutations and trials that transformed him. He earns his living killing monsters and is a member of a brotherhood founded long ago to protect people from werewolves, the undead, and a host of other beasts. However he is not an idealist who thinks that he can save the world. Killing monsters is his profession, he does it for money, not for fame and glory. He is a master of sword combat, whose battle skills are further enhanced by using certain magical powers. /official 'the witcher' PC game site/ THE SIGNS "Though they are not warrior mages who employ powerful spells, witchers can cast simple magic spells that can prove effective when used properly. Witchers call these spells Signs and usually use them against monsters, though they also have non-combat applications." The Aard is comprised of a telekinetic thrust that can stun, repel, knock down or disarm opponents, as well as remove barriers and other objects. The Igni is comprised of a pyrokinetic burst that can repel and ignite opponents, as well as start fires. The Quen, When cast it forms a protective field around the casting witcher. The Axii is a mental wave that triggers a hex that causes an enemy to fight alongside the witcher. The witcher can also calm down and control animals or even humans with it The Yrden forms a magical trap on the ground that triggers a limited number of times when traversed by a foe casing knock back, damage, and a chance of inflicting status ailments. The Heliotrop is made by crossing one's wrists, and works as a buffer. THE NORTHERN KINGDOMS
